I'm making a couple of Grand Slam II missiles for a Vulcan and i was wondering if there is a standard British Missile colour for the late 1960's to early 1970's ?

I really want to do them in photo recce blue , I know it's a what if and i can do them as i like but i was just wondering.......
Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!

Mossie

Blue steel was generally in anti flash white, but as the V bombers were painted in camo during the sixties, some Blue Steels received PRU Blue IIRC.  Other weapons, such as WE.177 & Martel were generally painted in Dark Green, or something closely approximating it.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
