Hi im new on here and ive just brought a airfix tsr2 1/48th (the first model for about 3-4 years) what i would like to do is either a flying tsr (retracted under carrage) or one taking off (purched on its hind legs so to speak) with the latter i would imagine it would be better to us the metal undercarage kit and son sort os clear persex rod
but the former is the a kit for the closed wheel bays and how would i mount it (my wife sats no to suspending them from the celling !!!
ive also brought the 1/48th revell typhon and am plannig to use some of the spare mounts and ordinance on the tsr  any ideas ????

Hi Matt!!  Welcome aboard!

I like the idea of the takeoff pose, but if you do it gear-up I'd just mount it on a wooden base (under a dollar at a craft store) with clear acrylic rod, or even brass rod.  With the TSR.2 I think a level pose gives a good impression of streaking towards the target at about 100 feet.

Looking forward to seeing this one progress!

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I think you'll have to make it from scratch
