I like the  Skyhawk Martin, it is very similar to an idea I have for a Hasegawa  A-4j that I have.  I bwas going to do that fleet air arm  but with  fuel  tanks  and a scratch built  C.O.D pod on the centre line.  Mine will be  in service  during the  late 60's.

The lack of canopy makes that UAV look even more evil for some reason

It gives the Hind a sort-of "Alien" alien look.

I do like the Skyhawk Martin

You may like this one as well then Chris.

Skyhawk T Mk-4. 759sqn FAA, NAS Brawdy in the 1960's.
Following on with the Single seat Skyhawk, Armstrong whitworth took out a further licence to build the two seater when they started to appear on the scene. The Royal Navy saw the trainer as a no brainer, it would kill several birds with one stone. Advance trainer, carrier qualification training, weapons training, inflight refueling etc. And if needs be the UK built examples were fully combat capable for a small drop in range thanks to the extra seat.

Hasegawa kit built pretty much OOB. Gunze paint job and decals robbed from a Naval Hunter sheet.
The crew ladder came with the kit so it would have been rude not to use it...............
The outboard pylons will gain some hardware in due course, once I've cast them up.    Namely UK practise bomb carriers.

Skyhawk trainer looks great Martin.  Good job.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That's very nice Martin, and looks absolutely right.  Mine won't have such a  brightly  coloured plumage  though, I  am thinking  extra dark sea grey  over sky, or sea grey  over light grey similar to that of the sea vixen.  I will have to do my homework on  colour schemes and  time  periods  before I do mine.

I certainly do Martin.

The Skyhawk is such an attractive little aircraft to start with that it makes an excellent canvas for most schemes.

That two seater looks great, as do most 2 seat variants of their single seat brethren. But your Skyhawk 2 seater's REALLY smart.

I recall having an argument with the late Fred Henderson in the pages of Air International about 2 seater Skyhawks a zillion years ago, but I can't remember what kit was about now.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Another Hanger queen finished Yesterday. This one has been sitting on the shelf of doom since early 2016.

Royal Navy SR177. A freightdog kit built OOB, With the only addition being the outer pylons and the radar redtops (both via Colin). It was built along side the RAF nuclear strike boxing that Colin did. But for various reasons it got put to one side. Then as tends to happen on my work bench the ziplock bag with the remaining bits (Stores, gear doors and intake ring) went AWOL.
These resurfaced again when I was on leave at the end of April, so it got moved to the front of the que to be finished.
As you might be able to see she has the HMS Centaur tail Marking. That was one of the kit decal options and seeing as my recent single seat scooter was marked for the same ship..............It now has a ship mate!
I always hope for the best.

Ironically, I found a Whirlybird vacform and one of Colin's early resin ones a few days back.
