Here she is in her primered (is that a real word?) glory.
Just wheels to organise. The main wheels are from an Italeri Horsa glider as they look the part of ultra low-pressure 'Tundra' tyres, but they do need to be 'weighted'.
Then it will be on with the colour scheme.

When you started this, I thought.  "OK.  It's just a flying box. What can you do with a flying box."   I have to say, you have made a much more interesting flying box than you started with.

Da Wheels!

This almost stopped this project in it's tracks, I can tell you.
I tried the old heat and squash technique to get the tyres to look weighted, and remember these are fat, low pressure, tyres.
This is what I managed to produce.

So it was trim and then ..............


PSR

Have you ever tried PSR on something this size?





Some might say that I must be "dedicated". I think that must be a new interpretation of "insane" that I was previously unaware off.
However, with a lot of perseverence, and a good magnifying visor, it worked!
Here's the end result, still to be finally painted.

In fact finished a week ago, and photographed, but I had to use flash, and the colours did not look right.
So, I had to wait for a sunny day, and to say that the weather has been pretty dismal here in Prestwick this last wek would be a serious understatement.

I am liking this Jaybee, I think one or several of these would look good in the service of my cartel. Perfect for small concealed jungle strip work.
