Guess who's back?


Classes, work & the gf have kept me very busy since Turkey day, but I finally found time to finish this little gem:



Yet another one of those Revell easykit F-15's done up in 318th markings, with a twist. This idea got spawned when I was looking into whether or not the 318th was deployed at anytime during 'Nam (had a SEA Heritage bird on the brain), after doing the necessary research I then opted for an overall ADC gray with hi-viz markings & full weapons load as a tribute to the 318th's FIS history.



In addition to the usual markings, the 318th adorned this bird with oversized TAC badges, a Japanese inspired Green Dragon emblem on the inside of the vertical stabilizers & the yellow bort numbers on the intakes.



If I get some extra time before things get cranked up again I'll try to get some better lighting . . . Still got two more of these buggars in the works, hopefully I'll get them done before summer!

  Got a few birds finished since being home from the hospital. You might have seen these before, but I managed to change the lighting up so maybe some of the colors can finally come out.
