In 32nd, I don't think a Whirlwind would be much bigger than a 72nd Lancaster.

Sad person that I am I couldn't resist doing the maths!

Whirlwind Length: 32 ft 3 in (9.83 m) Wingspan: 45 ft 0 in (13.72 m) therefore length 307 mm and 429 mm wingspan (just over 12 inches and just under 17 inches!) in 1/32nd

Lancaster Length: 69 ft 4 in (21.13 m) Wingspan: 102 ft 0 in (31.09 m) therefore 293 mm and 431 mm wingspan in 1/72nd. Very close indeed! 

Although some here might feel the need to lengthen the wings...

Special Hobby announced a 1/72nd Bugatti-De Monge 100P racer kit (SH72457) at Nuremberg last year, apologies if it's been mentioned before, but what's new is some CAD images aaaaaaand I need at least one of these, please:

Yup, let's just hope it's an early prototype of the kiy. I can certainly see one entering the stash
