The whole thing is a 'Whiff-in-a-box', even if they don't know that it is.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Presumably the USN decals could be used on an Airfix Gnat instead?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

That's the way I would go with it to get the "True" aircraft.

No they wern't. All the flying shots were done with two T.1s and an S.211, but there was a single-seat Ajeet in some of the ground shots. See here:

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

How many complaints would one get at a show if one built it in a "disabled parking" space like in the movie? ;)

So. Many. Options!

I'll lay odds you could get a 1/76th scale parking meter from a model railway supplier to put next to it as per one shot in the movie.

I for one would find it quite funny, but then again, as a 'para' and full time 'chair user', I'm allowed!  ;)
Although, making a wheelchair and chair lift in 1/72 for the diorama would be a challenge !

Putting the F.1 in Red Arrows colours on the sig stand as a double bluff might cause a bit of head scratching.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Seeing as it would be a direct reference to the filum one would have to be seriously thin skinned and devoid of humour to complain.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Unfortunately "thin skinned and devoid of humour" is not a good definition of "nearly nobody" these days. I could see some outraged SJW demanding not only that the model be destroyed, but that all copies of the film should be gathered up and burnt as well.

The more I look at it, the more I think I'll have to get one.  Wonder if they'll be an Ajeet boxing?
