- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

But what's that little 2-missile rack under the boom, not seen anything like that before --- or that style of drop tank either.

Didn't they carry 'winders toward the end of their service?

Probably Swiss 80mm rockets, same as they used on the Venom and Hunters.

Don't think this applies to that picture, but the Swiss did have recce drop-tanks for their Venoms (and Vampires?) which had cameras in the nose and fuel in the middle.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

IIRC, my matchbox/Xtrakit ones went ages ago.  Absolutely vile kits to build...

Time to bin the Matchbox kits!

Or send them to me so I can build more PR19s.  ;D

The SH Mk 12 kit looks a couple of orders better than the M'box version, but that wouldn't be too difficult!  :o

It's going to be very fiddly assembling the main gear bays for sure......

I hope they haven't fallen into the same trap that Matchbox did, John Adams (Aeroclub fame) told me that the nose on that Mk.14 was too long and that to use the nose for the Mk.12. He told me that the reason the nose looks longer on the Mk.14 was because the windshield is set at a steeper angle, which makes the bottom edge being attached further back on the fuselage (the rear frame of the windshield being in the same position). And the total length of a Mk.12 and a Mk.14 are the same.

Reading a Britmodeller thread, I believe they had but someone picked them up at the test shot stage which they acknowledged, so hopefully it should be right by the time the kit is out.

Looking at the sprue shots of the Special Hobby He 162 Volksjager makes me feel a bit sad that I don't build Luftwaffe any more.  Then I see the BBC News live from a memorial at Auschwitz  and I don't feel too bad after all.

NARSES2

SH have released a Brewster SB2A-4 Buccaneer, which I assume is a re-release of the 2009 A-3 I have in the stash, but the interesting point is that along with the 3 Marine Corps markings options they've also included a What If ? Dutch East Indies version as the Dutch did have plans to obtain some.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looks like Special Hobby have a big sale on right now, and some prices look quite tempting.

Details here :- https://www.specialhobby.eu/en/our-own-production/big-sale/?cur=1

But read the small print for each kit, there's a tag entitled 'Availability' below the pics, and some say 'No' :(

a few days after KP Models announced a 1/72 injection mould version of the SIAI SF-260 Marchetti,
Special Hobby just announced they are doing the same thing, this time both in 1/72 AND 1/48

on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Reminds me when Hannants brought out the XtraKit Spitfire Mk.22, Special Hobby made them for Hannants, then SH announced their Mk.22 --- at a much cheaper price. Just killed the XtraKit sales ----
