Cool!  I've always been curious about that kit.  Did it come with any ordinance?

It has about a dozen AGM-86 ALCM shapes to fill in the big emptiness of the two open weapons bays.

The reflection of the lights in the first image give your model some unanticipated animation, makes it look like there is some life in your flight station.  Congratulations, aside from the one member in the Seattle IPMS that turned one into a NAZI Biz Jet with splinter camouflage and swastikas, this is the second one that I have actually seen completed.

That does look nice and its good to see one finally built and painted as per the artwork

I suppose a fair number bought the kit then Northrop unveiled the B-2 and the ATB's got shoved to the back of the stash as Testors did a more suitable B-2 kit. For a kit of such What-If potential it is surprising we havent seen any built (especially on here !!!!).

Look forward to seeing it with the finnishing touches added

Thanks you guys!!!

This is the fourth attempt at building one of these. This is for a contest coming up in late September.

The diorama is going to have the bomber parked on the flightline ready getting ready for launch.

I will keep you guys updated.

Would be interesting if you could give the paint that metallic effect as seen on the Raptor

Very nice job so far, only seen two built before. One overall black and one in a very light grey with the old SAC markings of a shield shape and a blue stripe with white stars in it. Never seen a kit on the shelf , wish they'd reissue it.

That's a great idea! I didn't even think of that....I was going for that 1980's conceptual artist look.

May be someone out there will get inspired by this one and do the metallic finish ala Raptor.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Your build looks a lot nicer than I had expected from that kit. It looks great!
