Shark's or Tiger's Mouth Markings

Chris, I wonder if it's the fact that the Blenheim has that odd nose?  The way the sharkmouth is positioned, one would think it would obscure the bomb-aimer's view, but perhaps it's a second line hack?  I wonder if Terry has any info?

I've now had a sober look and it still looks odd ? The nose is Blenheim even under that shark mouth. I think what is throwing me is that the cowling top line in the photo seems to "merge" with the top of the fusalage and changes the apparent shape. Plus the tail ependage is soemwhat distorted (foreshortened ?) because of the angle of the camera.

Anyway it just looks a little like a baby B-17 rear end attached to the front end of a Blenheim to me  Daft I know but it's just got into my brain that way

Just came across it while googling....but I'm trying to find out more.

Looking at the aft fuselage ,which appears at first glance very B-17-ish, I think the background merges into the fuselage (it's a very fuzzy low contrast photo.....almost as if taken through the gusset of WW2 knickers!!) and the cowling height "might" be due to the angle of the photograph.
Just possible guesses....make an interesting model though?

Did a more specific search and came up with this....
Blenheim IV based in North Africa, Z9585 of 88 Sqn, used as a hack as the unit was equipped with Beaufighters.
This other photo was taken between June and late October 1942.

I did notice that one at the show, it was still there Sunday, but didn't notice the sharkmouth.  I think, for me at least, it was a case of civvy so not desperately interesting.
