That really does look as though it should be in a Loony Tunes cartoon  ;D Great find

As the P-47 was a BIG aeroplane it needed a suitably BIG sharkmouth it seems.  ;D

Must have used a LOT of paint though!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I have more than P-47 refs, than is considered healthy by most folks, and I have NEVER seen that one before - great find !!

A modern and rather ugly shark (not only the mouth) - it's an ex Iraqi Su-22 that ended up in Iran after the 2nd Gulf War, with a special paint scheme for an air show. Special it is...  :-\

PR19_Kit

They seem to have PAINTED the 'Turkey Feathers' on the exhaust nozzles!  :o

If there's a weird way of doing things the Iranians will find it............

That IS that thing? It's obviously a competition aerobatic machine, but it's a turbo-prop, which is a tad unusual.

A new one.

That aircraft is the subject of the old Italeri kit, I never was sure if the mouth should cover the nose transparencies or not, now I know.
Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

That decal would look good on a Hamilcar, if you had a Hamilcar of course.......  ;D

About time someone did an injection 1/72 Hamilcar, complete with tank emerging from its nose door. If Italeri can do a Gigant a Hamilcar's got to be small beer by comparison.

It is a somewhat modified Sukhoi Su-26:
http://www.turbo-shark.com/Plane.aspx

Instead of the radial engine (400hp, give or take, depending on model) it has a 780hp Walter turbo-prop.
More a show plane than contest machine, after the engine swap, I think.
