Now that is one stunning piece of Mach 3 master craftsmanship. I have the AMT one in my stash, I would love to build it. Think its time to evict the daughter so I can have her room to display it

Thanks everyone, so many kind comments, I really appreciate them all!

Nev,1) funnily enough ....umm ...no...,(actually I've just finished a smallish whif if you'll pardon the expression!! which I will post as soon as Colin gets round to sending me a few addon bits he's promised me!!,

2) Luckily I have a VERY understanding 'better half' who has allowed me to take over the garage conversion and fit it out as a suitable 'retreat/ den/ toyroom/ playpen/'whatever he gets up to' room...............Once the B-36,  B-52 and RC-135  are finished .............well I'm in serious trouble!!!!!! :banghead:

Wes, correct the serial number 71-2095 was carried over from the end of the B-58 run from ten years previously, taking into account development and procurement time, plus upgrade to C model status I felt that might be a fair  guesstimate...also I have some reference material that states that the planned entry to service date for the B-70A/RS-70 was to be 1968 so that kind of ties in with this time frame.....

Geoff, funnily enough I was thinking of using the paraffin pigeon for just that purpose. ;D...................................next question ....which table will have any room left to display it!!!

Chris, set the wheels in motion.................................priorities man, a copy of the Evening Echo should sort things out ....

Thanks again folks....

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Weaver

That is gorgeous - excellent NMF finish you've achieved there!
