Odds and Ordnance

A newish company in the UK, they've started doing weapons sets, conversions & correction sets for British aircraft.  Of most interest to us lot are some TSR.2 sets, two in 1/72, one containing AS.30's and the proposed pylons (they do a similar set with Bucc pylons), one a correction set for the fin & two correction sets in 1/48, one for the tail surfaces, one for the fuselage (not yet available).

There are a few weapons sets that might be useful for whiffing.  There are Firestreaks & Red Tops available for the Sea Vixen.  There are weapons sets for mud-moving Lightnings, bombs & rockets in one and some overwing Matra JL-100 rocket/drop tank combos in the other.  Plenty of sets for the 1/72 Bucc to coincide with Airfix's re-release, including a South African conversion.

Seem to be offering some interesting stuff for British subjects.

Simon.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

You're welcome Tim!  Hopefully some of those bits will be very useful.

Love the decent JL-100s!

That two-seat Hunter conversion could find it's way onto a whiff too - nice one Mossie!

Here's a photo of the two seat Hunter conversion.
Campbell (Mr. Odds and Ordnance) explained that he has moulded it with the D/F housing and both guns in place as it is easier to remove them than to add. I agree totally.
The mouldings are really nice.

An attractive product range at seemingly sensible prices.  Mike McEvoy has used a Hunter T7 resin conversion - see the 'Grumpy Old Modeller' website - but has anyone had any dealings with this company?  I've sent a couple of e-mails enquiring about said conversion, how to pay, etc, but no replies yet.

I might be wrong but I thought I'd seen somewhere "that real life" had intervened for the moment so things are on hold temporarily ? As I said I might be wrong.
Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Mossie

Some nice sets there, I might get hold of the Matra JL.100's & the Lightning trainer conversion when it comes out.

No, I think you're right.  Quite ill - something with his eyes IIRC.

Erm............yes indeed there is but it appears a little contradictory to me and I wanted to check before committing, and it does mention contacting them in advance of ordering.

If he is as poorly as Chris says I hope he makes a speedy recovery - he lives in a pretty isolated part of the world (try Google earthing his post code and you'll see what I mean!) so it can't be too much fun for him being sick.   ;D ;D

Well, things seem to be moving again.  A few new pics have shown up without captions, mostly of tank & interesting poddy type things that I can't identify off the top of my head.  The only one I can identify with any certainty is the AIR-2 Genie air-to-air nuke....
