Now there's and idea a VTOL (or STOL) TSR2 with lift jets in the weapon bay.

I think the weapons bay would be a bit too far back in the airframe for that, except maybe the front third of it.

Stick the lift jets somewhere between the  backseater and the weapons bay. You'll never get the nose off the ground if your lift jets are all back in the weapons bay, just too much airplane out ahead of that.

Sub assemblies generally done....wings, cockpit, fuselage, wheels....and the MiG-21PF fin will be good with a few mods. This kit doesn't fit very well though, does it?
The guide from Thorvic/Falcon is very useful though. Thanks chaps. Luckily, they don't say much about the TSR.2ski, and the full Soviet pruduction scenario.
