Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

look good just dont let the uk army been counters see it, or it will be the next tank we buy

Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

Yes, but they'll insist on removing the canon, then putting it back, but not providing ammo for it.....

I think it's a great idea ! You've got that low hull, and lots of armour, and speed.....

I would imagine it'd have even MORE speed since it doesn't have that massive turret to lug around... as if it didn't have enough to begin with.  Or they could be smart and replace it with a diesel so it doesn't drink back the gas like a drunk chugging cheap beer.

If it's American, you can follow the "General" convention and name it "Mosby", after John S. Mosby.  He was a Confederate field commander during the Civil War, leading the 43rd Battalion, 1st Virginia Cavalry.  They were known as "Mosby's Raiders", and were (in)famous for lightning raids and early "Ranger" tactics.

... and why not !
Fast, well protected with enough clout to do the recce role
I think this has merit.

Co-incidently I have an Abrams What-if in the early, early stages of working .. I am going for the M1A5 version the dedicated Urban version, loosely based on the description in Weapons of Choice.

want to see more of how yours turns out

"M7A1 Mosby?"

It's got a nice ring to it.   ;D

I know some people at work whose heads would explode upon seeing a Bradley turret on an Abrams.  Can't wait to see this one completed!

This is an inspired idea! What kit did the turret come from? Looks too nice to be Tamiya.
It would also make a perfect urban recon and attack tank - where you want to get the bad guys but not engage in random urban renewal.

This may also look good with a Scorpion or Scimitar turret, if you wanted to do a UK variant.
