Little point and many problems to having the overhangs at front and back: I'd be inclined to cut it short unless you feel you really need a chain locker for some reason...

Good choice with the Churchill chassis and their many small wheels: I'd be inclined to have a side-by-side pair at each end, independently articulated like train bogies.

I can't believe no one has brought up Kieth Laumers BOLO books yet. Huge, and I mean hundreds of feet, senient tanks. They are actually the hereos of the stories.

Thinking these were T-28s, not quite as big as reported but pretty good sized.
