As far as I know, there are kits of the Do.18 and Do.24 and as Chrisonord has pointed out, the latter is begging to be turbopropped into a Do.24ATT. What else?

What about kits of the Do.26 (the one with two push-pull engine pairs)? I saw a vac-form go on ebay the other day and Mach 2 did one (see below) - any more?

Incredibly pretty aircraft....

Huma did a military JII Wal in 1/72nd and there is the old (but actually quite nice) 1/144th Do X that has been released under several labels.
Combat Models also do a 1/72 vac of the Do X, however, rarely was model company better named.

Here is the list of 1/72 flying boat models from the Seawings site:

The Do 24ATT would be a massive conversion, but it would be an interesting build.

The Do 24 att is going to be a future project of mine, as I succumbed to getting one from Kingkit. Unless you want to make an exact replica of the one I put a picture up of, you could either make your own turbo prop engine pods, or use some from a conversion set. I was wondering if some from the turbo Dakota might do the job.

Hi Chris, how do you plan on doing the wing? or are you going to use the kit wing and just re-engine?

For those wondering what is being referenced:

Hya John,
I will be using the kit wing, purely for ease of conversion and to keep it that little bit more original. Unless there is another wing that could be used, but I think my first idea would be the better option. I plan on doing a Blohm and Voss 138 as a turbo prop also.

The DO 24 arrived today from Kingkit, and looking at the kit, I would say that converting the engines to turbo props is the least of my worries.
The DO 24 ATT has landing gears, this kit however does not, and will need a fair bit of modification to give it some that look right.
Still a nice looking kit non the less.
