Mossie

Kit, I've had a thought on the tarps, you could use Parafilm M.  I've got plenty & can send you some if you want.  You can stretch it to any thickness you want, I used it for the canopy tarp on my TA-7C, it takes paint well.

I stretched it to a middle thickness here, it's thicker as standard:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I got some cast SHARs from White Ensign instead, a darn sight easier than micro-filing the GR9s for sure. :)

I've actually got some of that Parafilm stuff and I'll give it a try Mossie. Thanks for the idea, it looks like it'd work for my 'big scale' AC as well, the 1/144 one.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit
