U.S.M.C. production F/A-23B Black Widdow

Here is my finished F/A-23B, in production US marines service.The aircraft is a direct replacement for the F-18 legacy aircraft, and is fully multi-mission capable. The aircraft is cleared to carry Maverick, Penguin, HARM, Harpoon x, and all current LGB and GPS guided munitions.

As soon as I did the colours on the Tigershark, I thought to myself, I need to use those on something stealthy. I think a U.S Marines F/A-22 in the same colours could be on the books soon.

It is the Italeri kit in 1/72nd scale,

Beautiful job, Chris - and the camo pattern is very appealing! I always found the F-23 to be sexier/cooler/more vooom than its ugly sister, the F-22.

My thoughts also Frank, the F-23 is certainly the better looking bird out of the two.
