Regarding the color, so here is an explanation. The aircraft Avro Lancaster ED953 IIA was produced at the company 30.10.1944 Avro Co.. Ltd. Manchester-Chadderton. The RAF air assets it acquired with the proceeds bought a collection of public Czechoslovak exile government, which has included the 311.Field Squadron flier Honnington airport where the airplane arrived 17.11.1944. There was marked matriculation O1 and assigned crew F / lt Robert Moravec.

I loved that model when I saw it at ModelBrno!

Definitely one of those situations where a "What if" paint scheme is a serious improvement over real world ones. That paint scheme looked so right on the Lanc. :wub:
