Slerski, I LOVE your fake historical article even more than your model! It is very well done and very credible!

(Oh, mais n'oublie pas de rajouter un "r" à "rorqual"...  ;D )

Slerski

Thanks a lot Stargazer (et merci d'avoir relevé la faute d'orthographe )

Those are some gorgeous T-Bolts, Slerski! That North Atlantic scheme looks great!

MAD

Nice idea with the carrier-based P-47!
Although the weight/size for its day would have been of concern.
As for the wing-folding issue - could you not reduce the amount of Browning's from eight to six (removing the inner most guns in each wing) This will leave room between the main landing gear and the guns, so as to not need modification to the ammo arrangement.

P.S love the model!!!

Thanks a lot.

To MAD : ammo arrangement was (is) a big source of headache  :banghead:. But a little solution was found, based on the Sea Fury arrangement and Bearcat.

Beauty. Right at home in those colours. Love the pic of the 2 together. I think it needs a wee u/c mod tho, maybe just somat with the doors on the main ( to make them look longer/ beefier ) and a more robust tail wheel.

PS- I think Canada would have been a good user as well
