Fantastic Eddie! Looks like you're well on your way to a wicked wartime RAF prototype scheme!

It's funny you should say prototype. I'm think of going out on a limb with the paint work.

Alright, I just jumped off into the deep end. I doubt this will be anything that is expected. I think knowing very little about this aircraft will help my creativity. I hope not to shock anyone that bad. ;D

Great Job    is it Planned as a Prototype or From an ASR Unit????? Hope to see More

Eddie M.

Cobra, I think is goingto be a prototype, because there will be no way to explain what I'm doing. ;D

This is the first coat of paint with a surprise finish later.

Intriguing...  I thought I knew exactly where you were going, but that comments thrown me!  Guess I'll just have to stay tuned.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I always enjoy it when Eddie takes a left turn and goes off the map.

A paint scheme with a surprise finish? Just when I thought I had it all figured out...

Looking good sailor! Can't wait to see your next update!

I tried something different this time. since I'm on a schedule, I had to paint  at a faster pace than I had planned, so......I used a bit of fine sandpaper to knock the paint profile down a bit. Gives it a bit of aged effect up close.

Alright, here's the look. I hadn't paid much attention to the Wellington before this build, but after I studied for a awhile, it grew on me, especially the black band down the side. I really wanted to work that look in, so I did. ;D

My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

You've got some very serious painting skill, Eddie! I really like your twist on RAF night bomber/prototype camo. Adding the extra shades of green and brown really take it to the next level!

Very, very nice work Eddie! The paintscheme reminds me of the captured Short Stirling from KG 200, maybe some inspiration?

BlackOps

Four Colour Camo rules, Eddie - beautiful work on that man.  Keep it up!

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

Nice one Eddie: looks like a very credible variation on the prototype scheme.

A yellow P is going to look very good on that black IF you can get it to be opaque enough.... If I was printing the P decal, I'd be inclined to try printing it with a black background on white decal paper instead of clear, but it depends if you can match the black closely enough on your printer.
