Thanks Brian!

This is the last update before rollout, which will probably be tomorrow. The hinges are basic chevron shapes cut from scrap plastic.

The Wellington HG is done. I named her Lola after my recently departed 20yr.old cat. This is not a museum piece but it is a labor of friendship. A build like this would have normally taken quite a bit longer if I had gone into deeper detail, but that was not the intention of this build. I wanted a subject that looked good in a simple way and I hope I've achieved it. Anyway one looks at it, I did in rememberance of Gary.

Nicely done Eddie, & a great tribute.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I like that Eddie,   it's given me some ideas for something similar.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Beautiful, Eddie.  This is the best "build it backwards" bomber conversion I've seen.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Beautiful work, Eddie - seriously awesome stuff.  Seven shades of it at least.  Love the camo, the four-tone over black is just nice.  I think I'll have to keep the painted canopy idea in mind when I go about 1/144 builds, might look nice on them.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

Simply outstanding, Eddie! Your take on RAF camo really works well with the RAF markings and the black and yellow scheme on the undersides! The gold canopy and turrets are a beautiful touch! Both HOG and Lola would be very honored!

Well done, Eddie.  He would have loved this.  Sure love the scheme and the open bomb-bay is outstanding.
