Found these at the local supermarket. They are fruit crunch and yogurt packs for kids to take to school. I've also seen the packs as baby food containers. When I saw them, I thought 'intakes and tailpipes', how about you?

Some kind of one man VTOL platform ?

I see you've all found a use for them! I also thought of prop, rudder and hydroplane housings for subs.

Got a ton of these from my grandson. Pressurized storage containers, similar to bootle cap containers

This is a lipstick container I saw at the local chemist. The shape was quite unique....the twist bit is (of course) round, but the top of the cap is a slightly rounded square. I thought of Dan Dare clear nose, although it would have to be 1/72 in scale. But I'm sure it could have a thousand uses!

Bought a geometry set [6in rule, try square and protractor] for the princely sum of £1 from Morrisons. ALL the items are totally flexible. Panel lines.... easy peasy. Although I have yet to try it out

This is a couple of odds and sods......the top bits, the plastic covered wire used in your garden. The unit full and the other, empty.
I saw paddle boat paddles, and the vac-form cups below.....god knows what you could do with those?

The cups would be good for paint mixing. Someone mentioned building a moon exploring vehicle from a tank. These would make good viewing domes.

Kinda "found" in that they're not specifically for modelling...

These are various charms and buttons from the bead craft shop in Afleck's Palace in Manchester. There are many other shapes and patterns, and they're all available in different finishes too: shiny silver, shiny gold, pewter etc... It struck me that these skully things are just the right size for putting on 1/72nd plane models or 1/35th tanks. I was particularly thinking of the pirate flying boat from Porco Rosso.

First off, some stamper/markers. Good value, with a clear dome, a space-capsule cone, and a "warp pod" in each one, or just use the whole thing as a warp pod:

Bumped up for Zenrat's benefit. The clear domes on these measure 22mm across the base. My latest find of them was a packet of 6 for a £1.09 in a cheapo shop.

On way home from the shopping discovered someone had dumped a - to use the Argos description - a tall, narrow bookcase by the communal bins. It didn't have shelves and the brain instantly said, "hang that horizontally on the wall and it will make a good display cabinet with a couple of shelves. It's now in the shed  ;D

Nice one Flyer.

I've got a half-built sci-fi ship which uses a pair of plastic tablespoons in one place.

Again, not sure what availability is like outside the Uk, but here, some "posh" chilled desserts come with a little chromed plastic spoon that's very small; probably in the right ball park for spats.
