Nice one Todd - first finished kit for a while?

I know, I know, some advocate will show a listing "proving" (to naive believers) that Canada never operated Meteor. Bullshit: the answer is "top secret" evidence.
(joke ;D )

Actually, Canada did operate Meteors; exactly four (three F3s and a T4), to be exact.

It was two Mk.III's, one Mk.IV and two T.7's.  The Mk.III/IV were used in Canada and the T.7's in Europe.

I've got these decals for my models but I've already done a Mk.III, the Airfix kit comes with a serial number on the decal sheet which is only one number different from one of the Canadian Meteors, fortunately it is the last number that needed changing.

Good looking Meteor.  Looks like something the 50's RCAF might have had.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Sauragnmon

Really does look quite nice - I have to admit, I saw the pictures first and my mind was like "Why are the engines standing out from the fuselage on that clunk?"  Then I read back and it made sense.

Still, beautifully done, man.

Sorry my joke was rather stupid, but should we investigate with accute seriousness like JMNs or are we here to smile? Well, anyway, I should have chosen other words (about the maple roundels or else), sorry.

Every time I look at that thing, I wonder, "Who messed with a Clunk?"  Looks absolutely outstanding!!

Great job!   The Meteor looks great no matter what happens to it in whiff-land doesn't it.

Matchbox kit presumably?
