Can you use both those words in the same sentence?  ;D

I quite agree. The two words don't go too well together (although that black scheme suits the beast a little better). The Tornado is for my money's worth one of the ugliest warbirds ever. Show me a Rafale, a Starfighter, a Gripen even and I'll show you what sleek means!!!

Sleek? Tornado?

Its like calling an A-10 a "pointy nosed poontang getter".

Thought this was funny!

Good choice ! Have also seen Kilroy reappear here and there. For a more obscure tagger- "Turk 182"

And something else:

Why, yes. When including the modifiers "for a bomber" and "can".

Only if you're referring to the F3 version I believe

British and Spanish Harriers over Germany in 1988!  :o
More pics HERE.

As much as I like the 2nd generation Harriers, there's something cool about these early ones.
Certainly wouldn't mind it if Italeri re-released Esci's AV-8A/GR.1.
Cheers,
Moritz

Neat pics Moritz.  The Esci GR.1 is certainly streets ahead of the Hasegawa version which is shabby to say the very least.

^ Yeah! It's a gem, isn't it?  If you look at the panel lines on the Esci Harriers and compare them to the recent Airfix Sea Harrier, you'd be hard pressed to correctly identify which one is close to thirty years older than the other one.  :o

A little more from the Wayback Machine!
Gorgeous air-to-air shots of NVA-LSK Fulcrums and Floggers!  :o A few more pics can be found in THIS THREAD.

Great shots Moritz.  Love the NVA-LSK stuff, a real change from the usual Soviets in Germany that abounds when it comes to the East.

I'm actually glad Italeri has got the Esci moulds as they had some really nice stuff back in the day.

The Italeri GR.3 is available.  Shouldn't be to too difficult to revise the nose to the earlier GR.1 standard, or graft on something special of your own.  Alternatively, LF Models do some two seater conversions, but they're not cheap & quite involved.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Great Harrier shots ! And for sure, the older models were beauties...especially the sexy shape of the two-seaters. The new two seaters are ugly.

I think that Wellesley shot is possibly one of the best I've ever seen. Simply beautiful!
