That has to be a contender for the title of "weirdest aircraft ever"! Looking forward to seeing this. Though you're extremely brave tackling that kit - it looks dreadful!

'Wierd' doesn't even start to describe that!

I'm not surprised the Me-109 is going like the clappers in the opposite direction, but I wouldn't want to be in his shoes when he gets back to base. His Intelligence Officer will probably have him thrown in the brig for talking rubbish.....

The ACA.5 would have been the most AWFUL thing to fly though, it's longitudinal stability must have been almost zero with such a tiny tailplane on a ludicrously short moment arm.

But more strength to your elbow CAO700, that's great engineering you're doing to get the nose weight in, and it's looking to be a great model there.

I still think that wouldn't look out of place in Star Wars. Slap a couple of big thruster units onto the fuselage and hang blaster cannon from the wingtips, and it would look right at home in the hands of Clone Wars-era mercenaries, or even clone troops.

Do you have an idea of the coulour(s) you will use? As on the box (this plane being what-if in itself, imagined in service) or even more uncommon (Chinese or else)?

What that plane needs is a jet engine instead of a piston engine. Perhaps a post-war conversion with Jumo 004.
