Which ideas have you for a Fiat CR. 42?
South America?
Or 
My favorite would be Austria 1939! No connection at Germany!
Austria however in the alliance with Germany and Italy.

Well if the Spanish Civil War had gone on a bit longer, the Nationalists would almost certainly have been supplied with them. Indeed, it's a point of dispute between SCW researchers, with some claiming that a few actually made it to Spain before the end.

Physically, you could make it more of an "ultimate biplane" by adding an enclosed cockpit and retractable u/c, a bit like the evolution from the I-15 to the I-153.

An Independent Austria would be good. S America you could have Uruguay or Argentina as the former definitely operated Italian equipment.

I have the Mexicans using them in one of my scenario's where they and the Colombian's occupy Central America. Leads to tension and latter conflict with the US (after a US defeat at Midway) and a general S American "war within a war" during WWII. Basically almost everyone verses Brazil

I do not want modifications! Separate honour another nation  
But Spain would be an option!

A CR-42 monoplane might look good!

Here's a similar concept that I did--He-151 "monoplane" (He-51 with He-112 wing) for the Austrian Anschluss Air Force in "alpensplatter" camo:

But for this project one would have to kill two modell`s 
One CR. 42 and one G. 50 in 1/48! Very expensively
