I don't think so - the masking is going to be complicated enough as it is!  There's the grey leading edges of everything, then all the metallic panels etc

Quote from: ChernayaAkulaJust looked at the reference photo of the F-15J again. Will you tape off the original grey camo stencils and apply the black and white over that giving it that intermittent look?  That'll look killer

This is what I am talking about!  The panels on the spine are provided as decals, but the stuff around the flaps, ailerons + tailplanes will require MORE masking  :banghead:

Just a small update.  I've finished the main weapons bay - this is all OOB.  Painted using a combination of references and artistic license

I also discovered a problem with the rear fins on the AAM-4s fitting in the weapons bay.  ISTR a similar problem with the AMRAAM which lead to its fins being cropped?  Looks like I might have to develop a special AAM-4R ;)

Don't think it's going to be finished before Wednesday....

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Beautiful nev.  Never mind, carry on!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

That is completely amazing work.  You must have an incredibly steady hand...and with KIDS running about, no less!!     I am humbled.

Trust me, its only done when there are no kids around (1 reason why my output has slowed dramatically the last 6 months :banghead: )

Anyway, since the GB has finished, I'm moving this to the workbench forum

This should be some pretty damn wicked stuff - nice work so far, looking forward to seeing more work.
