Does this one work?  http://www.neomega-resin.com/su15.htm

edit:  just noticed that it says 1/48, sorry.  It is listed in the 1/72 column on neomega' website though, might be worth an email to them.

Did a little searching and came up with this, hope it helps.

Or if your game for scratchbuilding here are some cockpit references.

It's exactly the same with the 72 scale F-107 kit.  It is ESPECIALLY disappointing to see nicely engraved panel lines, superb fit, lots of options, and then the cockpit doesn't even count as an afterthought.

I did a low-tech approach, took my pin vise and some small drill bits, and drilled out a bunch of 'guages' in the panel, and then tiny bits of stretched sprue for buttons, etc. . .  I then glued a piece of styrene on the back, and filled the tiny holes with black paint.  It's not accurate at all, but it does work okay, especially when there's a limited view of the control panel.

Looks like Trumpeter are working to the theory that it doesn't matter what they do because some after market manufacturer will come along with a resin/pe cockpit set. So by saving money on the cockpit they can give us better detail elsewhere.

Or (for the conspiricy theorists) they deliberately leave out cockpit detail so that you will pay extra for the Retepmurt cockpit set.

When you consider that Trumpy make their own PE sets, then it gets really dirty. Thanks guys. I searched through decal sheets and I think I am gonna use a combination of three sheets to achieve the goal.
Getting back into modeling

G'day Gang,

Armorama has just put up a first look (ie: CAD pics) of the Centauro here:

In addtion, they've also looked at the VK.3001(H) here:

Both look like neat addtions to the 35th range.

While it is labeled as a five in one and you certainly get your value for the money spent and you will need a larger spare parts bin after this purchase.

The kit offers three versions of the M1 Abrams and includes additional parts for the mine plow and mine rollers that were previously only available in separate kit purchases of that specific vehicle type.  So what do you get?  According to the review provided on you can build the following:

  • M1A1 HA
  • M1A1 HA (with mine plow)
  • M1A2
  • M1A1 HA mit Mine Roller
  • M1 Panther II mit Mine Plow

So that means you can also build the M1 Panther II with the Mine Roller if you wish and you would certainly have the option to build the M1A2 with either the mine roller or mine plow.  Maybe they should have labeled this as a "Seven in One Kit" instead to make it an even more enticing purchase?  The plus side is that you get all of the parts you could possibly want or need to build several flavors of Abrams.  The left over parts can be put to good use in tarting up other vehicles that were lacking in details.  If I had the need for additional M1 Abrams kits, I would certainly consider this as an option.

Looks like they're definitely pumping the large-scale crowd.  I'm surprised at a Growler in any scale, let alone 32nd!!

Why all this big stuff?

A buggar to build, awful to paint and they take FOREVER to do, and then nowhere to put the damned things!!

NOTHING would tempt me into 1/32nd (except an F-104 that's really, really good) and to be honest, I probably wouldn't bother then.

I'd rather have a nice decent Injection moulded Brigand, A2J Savage, Super Mystere in 1/72nd thank you.
