Modellversium now has an in-box review of the Trumpeter 1/32nd scale English Electric (BAC) Lightning F.1A/F.3 (kit #02280) available for your review. 

According to the review there are markings provided for the following aircraft:

Lightning F.1A, XM174, No.56 Squadron, RAF Wattisham, England, 1963

Lightning F.3, XR711, No. 111 Squadron, RAF Wattisham, England, 1965

It also has yellow fin flashes!  Hannants have stopped shipping the kits as they await corrected decals from Trumpeter.

Cybermodeler has posted Trumpeters releases in June for the US. The description of the 1/72nd Lightning F.3 says it has underwing drop tanks. Thought the Lightning only has tanks on top of the wing? Probably just a dodgy press release. http://www.cybermodeler.com/news/news090216a.shtml

Wasn't it just the F.6's that carried the external tanks as well?
