Breaking news!
Well, "breaking" is a bit reaching, given that the news is already a year old, but I just found out >>HERE<< on Armorama that will release a whole family of CV90 vehicles in 1/35! Probably to challenge Academy's soon-to-be-released CV9040. According to the Trumpeter rep, they'll do the CV90/40, CV90/40C, LVKV90, LVKV90C, CV90/30, CV90/35, AMOS and CV90/120T!  :o That's an ambitious plan! Even the AMOS (120mm twin-barrelled mortar) and 120mm gun turret, both of which are only in the prototype stage at the moment (at least AFAIK).
Whiffers rejoice!

ooohhh me want me want, iv quite a few piccies of those from holidays in Finland, definately a different type for the 1/35 shelves (all we need now is a SISU APC. ?)

According to Cybermodeler's Trumpeter newsletter, Trumpeter will release a 1/72 FC-1/JF-17 soon.

Trumpeter is putting out a 1/700 USS Sacramento.  I may have missed this before, because apparently it's due out in February!

What? How can someone with just a bit of taste hate Mirage F.1?
I love it!

According to the Rumourmonger thread over at Britmodeller, the 1:32 A-6's are just around the corner. the 'A' will be first then the 'E' and finally the EA-6B Prowler. The weapons in the first two will be generic, i.e. you'll get 60's & 80's era iron bombs, missiles, LGB's etc. Now I'm guessing that I'm on fairly solid ground when I predict that very few of these monsters will be bought by anybody who regularly inhabits this wonderful site, however if you do feel tempted, give me a shout, I have more A-6 references than I know what to do with and am happy to share what I've learned.

It would, Geoff. I built the Revellogram one many years back - the year the Nationals were at Donnington. Used the decals from a Fujimi 1:48 A-6A (courtesy of DtKS), and loaded it with wall-to-wall Mk82's..... really nice model even if I say so m'self..... A guy passing the Merseyside stand asked who built it and also if I was willing to sell it..... I asked him for £90.00..... He said would I include the base....

I only had the model finished about two weeks prior to the show, but the money covered all of my purchases for that year  ;D

Flicking through what's new and I couldn't get over the weapons loadout they give you.  And a 32nd scale Superbug no less.

I like the LGB Training rounds and the ADM-141C which look great for modifying into UCAV's.  ;D

Wow !  -  so much loadout in one box. Not even remotely tempted by the kit, but you can almost see how they can ask those huge prices for the more modern-era kits. Not the more historic stuff tho..... £+/-60.00 for an inaccurate P-51B/C..... Hmmmm

Yeah, by going reverse-Haseagawa and forcing you to buy one or two weapon sets with the kits - - with lots of left-overs to boot (because some of the things aren't used on the Super Hornet, some of them haven't even been cleared).

Same goes for their Su-25A, which has lots (LOTS) of stuff that can only be used on the later Su-25T/TM.

No idea, but I suspect it won't be before their currently prevailing 1/32 fad runs out of steam.  :banghead:
