Cool....the 105 is one of the sexiest aeroplanes of all time. Grabbing a Wellie or two would be a good idea. I'll have to check my LHS and see.....would make a good start for a post-war SAR type in RCAF service !

I was in my local hobby shop yesterday and spied this on the shelf.

new kit.

Nice!!!!! Fully detailed interior and the overall detail is damn fine.

While fondeling the parts like a dirty old man a thought struck me.

This would be a great chassis to carry a battlefield verison of the V2. I was planning to modify a maus kit but it appears I no longer have to.

The chassis is long enough and the orientation of the drive mechanism would make this a far easier conversion than I was planning.

So now I have to buy two

Perhaps you could protect it with similarly modified versions of older tracked guns carrying Wasserfall or Rheinchoter(sp) SAMs?
