Forgive me for being a bit dim. Is it a sanding sticky backed tape used on these?

No idea - sorry.

Good base for steampunk whiffery too, AND it'd go well with a couple of Martian War machines...."Farewell Thunder.....child, child child child........" ;)

NARSES2

Each time I look at that Dreadnought box it throws me. I'm used to thinking of her in terms of 1906 as she was commissioned in the Dec of that year and it was one of the key/seminal dates in my history O Level studies. So its engrained on my brain.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looks like Trumpeter are about to release 1/72 MiG-29 Fulcrums and Su-24 Fencers! LINK!
Some teaser pics:

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Spey_Phantom

finally, a decent 1/72 Mig-29
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Thorvic

The decent Su-24 Fencer is better news as it cover D/E/F models .

Who said either one of them would be 'decent'? This IS Trumpeter we're talking about here............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

^ Yup!  ;D Well, the Fulcrum does look decent. And even if they turn out to be lemons, Zvezda has a Fulcrum family of their own in the making.
Regarding the Fencer, I fear we'll see a blind scale-down of their 1/48 kit. The nose sprues for the Fencers look pretty poor, missing the characteristic bulge (as on their 1/48 kit). Still, modifying the nose should be easier than whipping the Dragon Fencer into shape.

zenrat

Just by not having the nose cone split horizontally that's better than the Tamiya/Italeri '29.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Nice ! A can see a few naval 2-seaters on the horizon.

The 1/48 crowd can also look forward to some BiG MiGs in 2015!

What's that on the left? Saab Lansen?

EDIT: They're from Hobby Boss, not Trumpeter.  :banghead:

The Wooksta!

Their forthcoming 48th scale DH Hornet is a pile of crap, with no less than John Adams condemning it.
