There's a 1/72nd Shenyang J-31 Gyrfalcon due in October.

Probably closer to late Nov/Dec, but still a welcome surprise and ideal Whif fodder

Trumpeter are releasing this month a 1/72nd scale M1117 too. I will be having some of these. Although the ACE kit of it wasn't a major pain for sausage fingers to build, I would rather build several of these as part of my task force, just to keep the blood pressure down  ;D

At last! Trumpeter has a Q-5 kit out in 1:72.

That would look good with Swift wings.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

1/72 Tu-128 and Tu-128UT sound pretty good. Not my thing, but a 1/48 Fairey Albacore is off the beaten track.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The TU-128 is right up my street, I will be watching out for these coming out, hopefully they won't be silly money.

Something really new: an 1:72 F-106B:

Announced for April 2018. according to HLJ.com (https://hlj.com/product/TRP01683/Air). Pricey, though, at around EUR 30,-.  :-\

I fancy one if those, not sure wether to get the F-106A or B.  The Meng kit looks wonderful but too many bits for me.  The Trumpy Delta Dart also has a good parts breakdown for what I want to do with it.  Your right though, it is pricey and that might put me off.  Prices seem to be slightly higher here too.

Hell yes! Two of the three things on the Falcon vac-form conversion set I bought have now been made redundant (Twogar and F-106B) so all we need now is an injection Mirage IIID to make it completely useless!

Re the Q-5, the first thing I thought of was an interceptor version with a radar nose and maybe Mig-21 wings?
