I think Hobby Boss announced that one. No set date as of yet, AFAIK.

Thanks for posting the pics Moritz!. Are there any actual external differences between the J-11 and the standard Su27 apart from the weapons? Hopefully they'll be a lot cheaper the that Su33 from Hasegawa.
About the WZ.10 chopper, I heard it was due late this year but there has been no advert yet and most are up to November/December already.
Only one available now is the Anigrand kit in 1/72nd http://www.anigrand.com/AA2103_WZ-10.htm and they also do a 1/144th kit as an extra in the Shaanxi KJ-200 kit. http://www.anigrand.com/AA4065_KJ-200.htm  Kinda pricey though HTH.

Good question. AFAIK, there are not many, so it shouldn't be hard to make a Russian bird from it. I'm not that well-versed in J-11s, so I'm not sure which flavour of J-11 differs in which things from Russian aircraft. A J-11 sans suffix shouldn't be too different from the standard Russian version, while the J-11B probably differs a lot more.
So far, we only have a couple of pics of the kits to go by, so it'll be hard to predict which parts are gonna end up in which kit.

It'll probably be cheaper than Hasegawa's Su-33 (although probably not much, given Trumpeter's recent pricing), but it's also a rather different aircraft. Not that it would justify a big difference in pricing, though.
Cheers,
Moritz

You will have to await on Trumpeter doing the J-15 to use as a basis for the Su-33, although once Shi Lang becomes operational i suspect trumpeter will soon have plans to do a J-15 kit.

BTW the Trumpeter J-20 in 1/72 has been released  :thumbsup:

My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one:
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods:
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

^ Could you try to adapt an F-22's weapon bays?
I broke out my Revell Raptor and measured the doors of the bays. The main weapon bay is about 65mm long and about 33mm wide, the smaller one is a little less than 50mm long and a little more than 10mm wide.
