It's a dead ringer to the Rolls Royce Private Venture Fighter

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Trumpy update for Jan 2012 includes the F-117A Stealth in 1/32nd scale and 1/35th Stryker with Mortar. http://www.trumpeter-china.com/a/en/news/20111111/2023.html

^ Cheers for posting that!
Whoa, an IT-1 missile tank? How flippin' cool is that?  Even thought about converting one of Trumpeter's T-62s into this beastie. Cool video of the thing HERE on Youtube. A similar set-up wouldn't look out of place on a Jagdpanther, Hetzer, E-10/25,....

I kinda wonder how many rivets they're going to put on that F-117.

In kinda related news, Ken "Flankerman" Duffey has an in-box review of Trumpeter's 1/72 J-11B Flanker HERE on ARC. Already building it, too. LINK!
Actually, it isn't so much a kit of an J-11B, but rather a contemporary PLAAF missile set, with a free Flanker kit supplied as a display stand.

Mine's still stuck at Customs.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Thorvic

Ohh well Ken appears to be happy with the kits shape and features so thats a good sign, and he's rather chuffed that he can mix the Su-33 with the WS-10 nozzels to do a PLAN carrier flanker

Didn't know anything about that 509... I can foresee that keeping company with my growing shelf of Luft 46 stuff. Maybe with 'Papagei Staffel' markings  :o

Or Air Ministry markings being tested by "Winkle" Brown ?

Anybody else notice that the markings for the 509 are a straight lift from one of our very-own Flitzer's profiles over on Luft 46 ??

After all the dramas we've had over profiles...

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Green Dragon

Hope Trumpy paid him for it! I had Flitzer's site bookmarked but it seems to have lapsed, anyone know where the site moved to?

Hopefully the Spiteful will be around the same price.  Not my scale but would like one as a bookend for The Plan.  I'm even (shudders) considering a Matchbox/Revell 32nd Spitfire F22...
