And lo & behold Trumpeter are doing the Chinese Kuznetsov class in 1/700 scale

We read it here first.  ;D

I LOVE the sub-text in the Hobby Link advert page that says '( This is a machine translation. Please allow for possible misinterpretations in the text. )

The 'description' of the kit above that is a total HOOT! I have NO idea what it's on about.....  ;D  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Another surprise announcement from Trumpeter: 1/48 MiG-23M Flogger-B!  :o Apparently hitting shops in August already!

LINK to it on the Trumpeter website and a LINK to an announcement on Cybermodeler.
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Oooh the Type 23 is due out in August

Not sure if this was listed before, but very possibly this is the biggest what-if (for now) kit from Trumpeter:

BODY,BODY....HEAD..!!!!

IF YER HIT, YER DEAD!!!!

Stick to the 1/700 version its much easier on the wallet and stash size, the 1/350th version are pretty big and will take up a good sized shelf.

Well HMS Kent has appeared with the conventional MK8 gun and Lynx HAS8, however Trumpeter have since announced a second boxing HMS Montrose due out in Feb 2013 with the MK8.mod1 gun (aka Kryten) and the Merlin HMA1.

Personaly i really hope they scale it down to 1/700 scale as would love to do both types plus the new refit version with Sea Ceptor replacing the Sea Wolf thats due tp reach the fleet in the later half of this decade. Now that would go well with the Type 45 as Escort to the QEC carrier until we get confirmed details on the Type 26 build.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
