Old Wombat

I'm fairly sure MiniArt do an unarmoured D7 in their range, but I don't have time to check right now.
Has a life outside of What-If & wishes it would stop interfering!

Yes they do:

The armoured D7 may not be brand new, I've found images of it in Miniart's older white box.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

AMT 1/25 Cat is a D8H.  Similar shape but larger and more modern (hydraulics to lift the blade rather than a winch).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

They're revisiting their Lanz Bulldog tractors in 1/24.  If they carry on with some of their other civvy vehicles (Tempo E400) it might make for a happy Zenrat.

They released a number of different D-7s back in 2015, including an armoured one with a different blade system.

The 1/35 Bulldog kits build up nicely and are an enjoyable build.

Does it work though? It could be quite handy at that sizing..........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Steel Penguin

that is a serious tempter for me,  i can use it as part of the dressing on my Dragon Wagon / Pibber build.
I can also appreciate having one with a set of duckboards, a swarf trench and plenty of cutting fluid everywhere...  i think i can just remember the right grey for the SO3 section at Filton from where my late father took us round on the open days.   now its just a case of cost?
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
wow, its like freefalling into the Geofront

Now why can I see Steve from The Repair Shop using one of those lathes?  ;D

Interesting seeing the Radio Truck in what looks like Fire Department service. Something different from plain old OD.

That's the same thoughts I'm having to mate..considering the prices here for Miniart stuff ..that lathe will cost $50nz ..probably
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It's listed as £19 here, which would be about NZ$40.  Any mark up might push it up a bit.

CMK do a resin 1/35 lathe as a cheaper alternative, looks to be a smaller machine:
