To slightly misquote 'Crocodile Dundee'..........

That's not a lathe ..................

THAT'S a lathe!   ;D

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

In case anybody was wanting to use it for an "accurate" WWII period diorama, the Mini-Art
lathe is marked with the VDF logo, which was a combine formed post-WWII to market
German machine tools.
;)
The lathe is one of those manufactured by Heidenreich & Harbeck - Hamburg. H & H did
the small lathes in the product line, the E3 and V3. Turning diameters 480mm and 520mm
respectively, available between centres capacities ranging from 750mm to 4000mm.

Some more from Mini Art. They already do a lot of 1/35 diorama stuff, but they've recently done some in 1/24.  Some 100l plastic barrels which come with hazard labels and some Jerry Cans. Might be useful for an apocalyptic diorama.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
