A very nice little addition (or should I say pair of additions) today courtesy of Leslie himself:


  • An Uncle Les, 1/48 GAF Nomad N22; and
  • An Uncle Les, 1/48 GAF Nomad N24.

Not sure what to do with them yet - toying with one in SAAF or Rhodesian markings and the other perhaps as a gunship of some sort.

Eventually wrestled from the Royal Mail a small package from the Big Yellow H which contained

     1 x Xtracrylix XA1132 FS 16251
     1 x Xtracrylix XA1157 FS 16176

      Both of the above for an RSAF F-15S

      and one sheet of 5 Colour Lozenge by Techmod for a little project I have active at the moment........Pictures when finished

Kinetic F-16I in 1/72!  :party:
Looks rather decent in the box. Nice cockpit, lotsa stores (no normal tanks apart from the 600gal tanks and CFTs, though), great decals (designed by Sky's Decal, printed by Cartograf  :bow:),.... The panel lines are a bit deep, though.

Well used the funds created by stash sale to purchase a WEM 1/700 Type 23 frigate to go with the CVF and Type 45s when they appear.

Also off Ebay a Trumpeter 1/700 Admiral Kuznetsov, so thats for a whif project   :thumbsup:
