I went for a quick "look" in Modelzone today.....twice
But came away with a mirage F-1, and an Arkona search and rescue boat. Weaver is right about this thing, it does have plenty of whiff potential, as there is plenty of room for an auto deck gun and a couple of .50's on the upper deck. Even the little launch has a hatch up front just crying out to be a .50 cal instalment
Oh and I got some paint and some evergreen/plastruct stuff too.
Cheers,
Chris.

Checked out the nearest LMS to me. It changed hands a month or so ago, so i wanted to see what the new owner was doing with the place.   Its now moveing away from the model railway domination that the place has been under for as long as i can remember to a more balanced model kit/model rail split.  So I walked out haveing rehomed an Italeri B-24D Liberator. (it is the Academy kit)
I always hope for the best.

Picked up an Airfix 1/72 Defiant, along with some fake snow from Hobbycraft.  Hopefully both will be useful for my Secret Santa entry.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hasey 1/72 F-104J/CF-104 kit.  Thinking RAF again.  Granted I did one in 1/48 already but the Starfighter just lends itself to have the bullseyes on them!

Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
