Minicraft 1/144th scale Tupolev Tu22 Backfire B arrived today from Revelstone Models (via ebay and parcel force). Looks really good so far, don't know how accurate but seems better in shape than Esci's 1/72nd kits.

The F-19 makes a good parasite Drone interceptor, scaled up to 1/72nd scale, and flush fit into a fuselage of something.
Chris.

Or a really neat 1/144 space fighter when painted like the shuttle  ;D

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Got my replacement Hobbyboss 1/72 Hurricane Mk.II from Archeron Games in Hull.  Slightly different kit, they didn't have any left of Mk.II, so I got the Mk.II Trop instead, they're the same kit, just different decals.  No quibbles, in fact they were very apologetic & checked the new kit for me.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

From ebay: 1/72nd scale boxless Airfix Draken. Too cheap to ignore and soooo many projects that can benefit from it's bits.....
