I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Are yours also misprinted?  :banghead: Got two copies and on both some colours are misprinted. The two copies I have of their Hunter sheet I have are perfectly in register, though.

Do wish someone (Model Alliance maybe) would come out with some Desert Storm or Op Telic decals for the lil' Tornadoes (and Harriers).
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

With today's news that both classes are going to probably be built, the insta-whif potential has disappeared overnight.

I've got it too, and am surprised how wide the things are!

They appear to be in perfect register, currently going to only use the 617 Sqn markings for the Panda B-1B I picked up in Glasgow

You know, I'm glad you said that as I knew a decision was coming & I assumed they would go with LCS-1.  With that platform, a few whiffs are possible, the LCS-I for Israle being one.  Not sure how to whiff LCS-2, I'm probably doing it oob as a quick build (already got the major components together despite other destractions in around an hour & a half!).  It might get the camouflaged hull seen in some of the concept CGI.

Well its the size of a Leander class frigate, so these are not pokey little corvettes. With the trimaran you could up gun it to a 76mm or add the VLS launcher thats just a plate in the kit (the intended missiles were a joint Army/Navy Surface to Surface systme that got cancelled this year!!). Add missile directors if going with a SAM system BTW.
You could switch Sea Ram for RAM or Phalanx, revise the hanger to narrow it and allow vls system tl be fitted on the hanger roof.

OR You could build it OOB and use it on the PC stealth display at SMW

I had wondered if you'd want it Geoff!  If I get it finished, I'll bring it with me to Telford.

I'd told myself I wouldn't buy any more models for a while, but I picked up an Airfix Helldiver today. It will be getting Argentine Navy or Brazilian markings, for the Antarctic campaign of 1947-49. ;D
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Daryl J.

2 Airfix B-57B's and a Monogram Frogfoot.

A 1:700 Fujimi Kongo arrived from ebay today. It will form the basis of HMS Leopard, the follow-on to the Lion-class battlecruisers and Tiger. 15" guns I think...

Well I visited a LMS today, I'm afraid I succumbed to all the lovely plastic on display (after being very good for about 18 months)

Academy 1/48 CH-53E
Airfix 1/72 BAE Systems Hawk
Revell 1/72 Me.1099B

found their way into my stash.

The CH-53E will either donate it's engines or be made as a master for some engine nacelles (more than likely) that I was after for my Quad Tilt Rotor project
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike
