At SMW2010 I bought....

1/72
KP Avia B.35 fighter
Revell P.1099 Heavy Armour version
Italeri RAH-66 Comanche helo
Italeri A129 Mangusta helo
Fujimi F9F-8 Cougar

1/144
AV-8B Harrier Plus
Eurofighter JF90 (old moulding)

And a bunch of secondhand decals from the Decal Bank for various air arms. Quite a restrained year for me buying wise but I think I broke even with what I've sold in the last week.

My Loft stash didn't actually grow, it shrunk, as I got rid of more stuff than I bought. RESULT!

The stuff I got was a Mistel V and a 2 seat Su-30 from the Kit Swap (the Mistel V is because I want the launch trolly for a RW Ar-234A...)

A Broplan vacform CN235, destined for an RW Irish Aer Corps version in that gorgeous blue scheme.

A Valom Lockheed XFV-1, because it's SO Whiffable  ;D

A 1/144 Lockheed TriStar 100 (to become the never delivered 'Green' Court Line example)

A Meteor F8 courtesy of his NARSES2's generosity. Chris, I STILL owe you that coffee and bun for the MB8's prop!  :o

Numerous resin bits and bobs from the Wooksta's factory in the NE.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Sounds about right that Dunc, whilst I was sulking at not being able to go this weekend and sulking even more at all the goodies everyone has been getting, I have been doing some scratch building :-X

Ahh, nice. I've been eyeing up the Magna Firebrand and Firecrest for a while - any good? I'm guessing it's the Sanger vacform Windsor as well (also on the list).

The Firecrest is one of his earlier efforts. It's a bit rough but careful work pays off and it's a nice model.  The Firebrand...  Depends which one you get.  If it's the original from 1993, run away.  Run away now.  Vile resin and horrible fit and I struggled with mine.  If it's the more recent one, it's much better. The Rareplanes vacform is worth tracking down as it's a nice kit.  If you have the money, the CMR one is stunning.

Telford.  This year I have been somewhat restrained:
3x Admiral Spitfires (the new one, marketed as a 22, 24 and Seafire 46 but it's the same plastic in each box)
Airfix Spitfire Ia (70s tool)
Airfix Spitfire Vb
Airfix Spitfire PR19
MPM Spitfire PR.XI
Special Hobby Spitfire PR.X
CMR Spitfire F.21 (comes with contraprop but do you get the F.XVIII rudder used by the contraprop F.21?  Do you fairycakes!)
Heller Spitfire F.XVIe
AZ Spitfire F.XVIII
Airfix Meteor FIII
Antares Heinkel He 274
High Planes Beaufighter II
3 x Frog/Novo DH Hornets
Skybirds 86 Hornet F.3 (will be fitted with Highballs as a Sea Hornet)
Marsh Models Focke Wulf Ta 183
Final Touch Martin Baker MB5 (pirated from the Skybirds one so it looks buildable!)
Matchbox Tempest II/VI

From PR19 Kit:
Ventura Spitfire F.XIV
Ventura Seafire F.XV
Ventura Spitfire F.XVII
Airkit Spitfire F.21
Frog Beaufighter (RAF version)
Matchbox Tempest II/VI

From Howard of Effingham:
Novo Supermarine Attacker

From Phoenix 54 on Britmodeller:
Frog Meteor F.IV
Frog DH Hornet
Novo Attacker (allocated to my Jet Spitfire project)

From Kitbasher:
Final Touch Seafire FR47 wings (allocated to my Jet Spitfire project)

Conversions:
2 x Freightdog Spitfire HFVIII resin set (one is allocated to a Spitfire PR.XII)
4 x Spitfire II conversions (injection sprue x 2 and decals for 2 aircraft per conversion, although the sprues were available separately)

Decals:
Freightdog RAF Postwar set (unsure of the number but it's new, with the Brigand and Spitfire F21  - which gave me ideas...)
Baracuda Decals Spitfire IX (one is a pink FR aircraft, so it demanded to be bought!)

Books:
DH Hornet & Sea Hornet by Tony Buttler

I thought last year was the year of the Spitfire but this year trashes it by miles.

I was a good boy, resisted the urge to splurge and will go to heaven!

Off Narses 2 - Matchbox/Revell Wellington and Beaufighter.
Off the built wrecks table by the front door - Matchbox Noorduyn Norseman.
(the above to be whiffed)
From the shops - reissued Airfix Dh.88 Comet (yes, rubbish I know but the box art is irresistable!), some bits and pieces from Aeroclub, Whirlybird and Heritage.

I also came away with my idea for next year's 1941 theme and My Bid for SMW 2011 Fame and Fortune.

Worth every penny for the drawing of the Highball installation alone!
