Boy Chris I don't know. I didn't even know what they were till the shop owner told me. I have heard of Ultraman but never seen it. I don't even know when it came out but it looks '60's ish. Off to Google ;D

You can get a lot of these old kits from HLJ.com, and there's an ebay seller that has lots of interesting stuff - search for the user id "recoverychannel".

Got a notice that I was to pick up a parcel from the customs office. Strange, couldn't remember ordering something from abroad. Turned out it was a Hasegawa 1/72 F/A-18F VFA-102 History (2 kits per box) that I ordered two of last year. They only had one in stock back then, so now I got the second one.  :o

Also picked up an RoG 1/72 P-3C Orion. That red discount sticker grabbed my attention. 13 EUR. Nice!  :party: Think I'll turn this one into one those Orion AWACS birds that they use/used in Latin America to support anti-drug trafficking operations. Only mine will fly from Kenya and support anti-piracy ops. *TV-presenter-voice-ON* But what started as an anti-piracy op turns into a major shooting war setting all of the Horn of Africa on fire. Stay tuned..... :wacko:

Just had an Airfix JAS 39 Gripen delivered, maybe a slightly whiffy Thai AF or more whiffy Philippine or Kenyan.

Called in at Chestermoor on the way back from Newcastle airport today and got another Trumpeter 1/144 USS Seawolf sub plus a box of the new 1/35 Trumpeter Modern German ISAF Soldiers in Afghanistan, you get 5 figures, 4 very nice H&K G36 rifles and 2 H&K MP7A1 PDW's, will come in handy for my helicopter crew  ;D

im undecided on the Bronco.............either it will go South American (Peru or Chile) or it will be come another in my New Confederate States of America project, either 'New Arizona' or 'Independant State of South Carolina' (depends on whos insignia turns out the nicest  ;D )

The Hawaiian pilot is a cool ship model. You may want to replace the solid railings with PE, although I've seen it built OOTB with the solid railings and with some clever painting they look OK from a distance. This is one of those odd Revell not quite waterline and not quite full hull ships.

Three 1:48 Roden AU-23A Peacemakers arrived yesterday.  One will be an Elint/EW, another a SAR c/w snowskis and the last one could end up as something truly odd.

Don't know why I love ugly a/c so much but I do.

Airfix 1/350 HMS Illustrious was delivered today from Airfix.

Nice kit despite the Ship modelling JMN's describing the detail as a bit heavy and amatureish, however they are comparing the kit to the latest Hasegawa and Trumpeter releases which retail for well over twice as much - The new 1/350 USS Wasp LPA which was manufacturered by Trumpeter but released by various companies around the globe has a price of £175 from Hannants for the Revell boxing !!!!!. Guess which is going to sell more  :thumbsup:
