On the way back from Meadowhall after Rocky Horror, got a Revell Biamark to be whiffed (1/570), and waiting at home was a Revell "Prince of Wales"...another to be wiffed.

Picked up a Revell re-box of the Matchbox Hawker Fury today, from Monk Bar Models in York.  That's my Kestrel for the Fokker D.XXIII finally sourced without hacking the Miles Master Fighter.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Green Dragon

Hasegawa 1/72nd Weapons Set 3 (Air to Air Missiles) arrived today from ebay. Might use some extra AMRAAM's on the Icelandic Air Force F/A-18F if it's on an intercept mission.

Airfix 1/350 HMS Illustrious was delivered today from Airfix.

Nice kit despite the Ship modelling JMN's describing the detail as a bit heavy and amatureish, however they are comparing the kit to the latest Hasegawa and Trumpeter releases which retail for well over twice as much - The new 1/350 USS Wasp LPA which was manufacturered by Trumpeter but released by various companies around the globe has a price of £175 from Hannants for the Revell boxing !!!!!. Guess which is going to sell more

A friend of mine got the Lusty today, looks ok but would of been nice with a few more aircraft  ;D

Got a Revell 1/72 Tornado today. Had to get this one. So beautiful.

Also got the Trumpeter 1/35 German IASF Soldiers. They do look pretty nice. Since the Tornado will be a real-world build, I'll whif the IASF guys (so as not to upset the universe and keep the delicate balance of real world and whif building). Either they'll become Spaniards and will be posed around a Centauro armoured tank destroyer (for an African scenario) or they'll stay German but will need assistance by a Leo 2A6 whiffed for urban warfare (like barraxr's Aussie Leo) or something entirely else.
Cheers,
Moritz

Looks right smart in that 'Berlin' type scheme.
