Not so much a model but got a 1/16th scale Dalek today.  Is a damaged remote control model but I'm going to weather it to within an inch of it's life and leave it as a static model  ;D  ;D, but the sound still works so thats ok..................." the doctor is the enemy of the daleks............exterminate," etc etc. ;D  ;D  ;D

May be able to get a couple of 1/16th scale damamged remote control T34's one winter and one green for about £5 each so fingers crossed on that one  ;D  ;D  ;D
Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!

I guess that's the Lightning not the M60?  Cheers Tim!  Anyones guess as to when I'll next get into town with this weather so I might well tap you up.

Strange thing with the Modelzone sale in Hull, all the tickets said 50% off, when most of them were more than that.  I was hoping it might be a second discount, I was slightly dissapointed when I didn't get a Victor for four quid! ;D  I guess it must have been the YTS that got the job of labeling them.  The one real boo-boo I saw was the Flower class corvette, it was marked down from fifty to forty quid & the YTS numpty had marked them all 50% off!  I saw one of the guys eyes widen & he quickly whipped them off!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Was looking for the new Airfix Harrier kits but no sign of them in Holborn MZ.

I struggled to get these as well Nick - in the end got them from my local departmental store Alders  ;D

Not stash additions as such, but supplies. A local shop had a big load of model supplies on clearance. I got four Tamiya weathering sets (the little palettes like make-up) for 99p each (down from a fiver!), and a set of Humbrol model stands (four in a pack) for 50p. Good stuff. Was looking for some of the new Arifix kits - SHar 2 and Cranberry - but they didn't have any in stock.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Manchester MZ had stacks of both the last time I went in, so if you run out, I could perhaps get some. Not sure when, however: next chance is next Friday, but that's weather permitting.

Got a pile of materials (Evergreen and Metals, mostly) from Cheshire Models on Friday, because it closed it's doors forever today....

First one of the year came today, Airfix MBB Bo105 (no box but complete otherwise) from ebay. Serveral more things due soon!
All my previous Airfix Bo105's have been moulded in green plastic and have only the German markings but this one also has Dutch decals and is moulded in light grey.

Edit:A few hours later an Esci R4D-5 Antarctic Pioneer got delivered  Been after one for a reasonable price for years!

From ebay:

MiniArt 1/16th 1st Cent.AD. Roman Legionary
MiniArt 1/16th XVII Cent. Netherlands Musketeer
Bag of misc 1/16th modernish accessories

Inspired by the discussion about a figures GB. Might be a "modern" Roman, might be a XVII Roman Musketeer. Don't know yet, because the Musketeer box had completely the wrong sprues in it, so it has to go back for an exchange.... :banghead:
