Actually, I must correct myself. it isn't an AZ kit, but an RS Models kit. Still, very nice.

I already have an idea for it as an expansion to my Bucharest Alliance story. Watch for it in RAF test and evaluation markings.

Spent a quite expensive hour in Plastic Past Times this lunchtime. Went with a shopping list of just one item - A Gripen - not bothered about scale, well obviously not 1:32  - Got the Italeri 1:48 one for just £15.00, the 1:72 was £10 !!!!!! (this will be well and truly Whiffed - don't bother suggesting schemes, it's been decided upon and set in  stone !!),  - also walked-out with a Hasegawa Weaps set 'D' (modern LGB's), A 1:72 Fujimi F-4B/N and an Italeri Kfir C7 also in 1:72, which was really an impulse buy and almost inevitably, disappointing when I opened the box later. If anybody wants it, then drop me a PM..... deals can be done....

Big bunch of decals from the Big H, Sprue Bros and from an eBay-seller in the US (an outfit called runforcover! - good prices, fast and cheap shipping).

1/72 Xtradecal Sea Vixens - to be used on an F4D Skyray.
1/72 Almark and  Platz SEAC roundels - for a couple of SEAC subjects (F-104, for instance)
Several 1/72 Eagle Strike sets for Me 109s and Fw 190s - squadron markings, nose art and stencils for a couple of Luftwaffe whifs.
1/48 Aeromaster Spitfire Best Sellers -  the SEAC markings for a Spitfire F.22/24 float plane.
1/72 Xtradecal Jaguars - to be used on a RoG F-16 for the Let it Snow GB.

And for a real world build (le gasp!) a 1/72 Model Alliance sheet for the Hawk T.1 in brown/green WWII camo, which, in a way, is also a whif.  ;D
Cheers,

19SQN anniversary aircraft. It was a  Spitfire Beowulf - 19 were one of the first users of the MK1. I have plans to model the pair of them sometime soon

The Big H came through again:
1/144 FCM Iranian F-14A Tomcats - twice. One sheet for the real world Alicats, another sheet for some whiffery goodness (no definite plans yet, though).
1/144 Astra Decals (Daco) German Starfighters - I'm simply floored. Without a doubt one of the most impressive, if not THE most impressive decal sheet I ever bought!  Stencils, squadron insignia, specials - it's all there, in abundance. Simply amazing! There'll be lots of left-overs which may find their way onto some other whifs....

Regarding the Hawk: As Beowulf said, it looks way cool.

From ebay:

MiniArt 1/16th 1st Cent.AD. Roman Legionary
MiniArt 1/16th XVII Cent. Netherlands Musketeer
Bag of misc 1/16th modernish accessories

Inspired by the discussion about a figures GB. Might be a "modern" Roman, might be a XVII Roman Musketeer. Don't know yet, because the Musketeer box had completely the wrong sprues in it, so it has to go back for an exchange.... :banghead:

Got the Musketeer replacement this morning and it DOES have the right sprues. Havn't had a play with it yet....

I like the idea of an updated Roman Musketeer!! Nice one.

I'm considering an SS Musketeer ;D

Green Dragon

Got three from ebay today.
Italeri SR-71A with drone
Revell Do228-100 Holliday Express
Revell Do228-212 LM Marine Patrol

The US-3A I got a few days back is not as pristine as I thought, decals are a bit goosed! Think damp got to them, they are kind of crinkly around edges of each decal. Doesn't notice much til you run you fingers over them. No idea if they will be usable.

Via the man with the red van and EB a 120mm Verlinden British Para Sniper, doesn't look to bad apart from he's got a SMLE No1 Mk III sniper rifle and a Bren barrel bag, the rifle may get changed to a No4 Mk1 (T) and he may end up being made into Sergeant H.A. Marshall of the Sniper Section, The Calgary Highlanders ;D

Ps, I've found a few photos of him on the net but if any of our Canadian friends can help with anymore I'd be very grateful.
Thanks
