Also got a Dragon 1/72 Sd.Kfz. 164 "Hornisse" tank destroyer. Will probably be a real world build.

Either the aliens got her or she has something to hide herself. ;)

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Just ordered to lots of Aber brass barrels for the MG-34, a AFV type and a ground type plus an 75mm aluminium barrel for a E25, all in 1/35.

Weaver

From ebay, Revell 1/100th Sikorsky CH-54A Skycrane, with the rear cockpit glazing missing. First thought is to scaleorama it to 1/72nd with a new, more modern cockpit pod made from various Eurocopter types.

That sounds like it would look great Weaver, maybe an EC135?

That's the general idea: EC135 cabin with a section cut out of the middle to shorten it, and another windscreen fitted in place of the cargo doors to give the rear-facing piloting position.

Heavy.  ;)

It's a one piece Pewter ship, everything molded on.  I'll give a more detailed review when it actually arrives, but I can say that Andy over at TTH was a really nice guy, and very helpful.  Didn't seem at all confused that I was ordering a grand total of one ship either, regardless of their bulk rate for 50.

Spey_Phantom

got a dragon/DML 1/144 SU-35/37 twin pack at 50% off  ;D
